Electronic musician Flying Lotus brings their beats to the Greek Theater in June, along with Little Dragon. (Tim Saccenti)

Those who saw Flying Lotus open for Solange at the Greek Theater last year got an earful—and eyeful—with a pulsing lightshow, throbbing beats, and 3D visuals.

Now, the L.A.-based artist returns to the Greek Theater as a headliner, bringing his hazy, experimental music style and trippy visuals along with him. Flying Lotus brings inventive jazz elements into his electronic sound, possibly inspired by the work of his great-aunt, Alice Coltrane.

Sweden’s Grammy-nominated electro-poppers Little Dragon open, along with crossover jazz quartet BADBADNOTGOOD.

Flying Lotus, Little Dragon, and BADBADNOTGOOD perform Saturday, June 16, at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. Details here.
