It’s going to take a long time for people to recover in the North Bay, so signs of everyday life are welcomed by the locals. The Gundlach Bundschu Winery is helping Sonoma feel normal again by hosting folk duo Mandolin Orange for winery’s first show at its Redwood Barn since the fires.

The winery was spared but the Bundschu family home burned down. President Jeff Bundschu, who books the bands, says the family is still “a little shaken up” weeks after the blaze.

“So anytime we get together, you know we’re not taking it for granted as much as we have been,” Bundschu said. “This first show will be a grateful sign that things are back to some sort of normalcy up here.”

The concert at Gundlach Bundschu Winery is Nov. 12. Details here.
