Previously unreleased footage from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, aired Sunday night on during the broadcast of the American Music Awards (AMAs) on ABC.
Film lovers counting down the days down the days until the release of the latest addition to the Star Wars Sci-fi movie franchise were treated to 15 seconds of uncut footage; that is, if they happened to be watching the AMAs.
If not, like all important contributions to media, it’s on the Internet and it’s action-packed, but it doesn’t give up much of the plot, showing only protagonists Rey and Finn (Daisy Ridley and John Boyega) running from lazers, yelling at each other, surrounded by explosions.
The film is the seventh in the Star Wars series and reportedly the first in a trilogy; all six previous movies were broken up into two other trilogies.
