Every Thursday, the KQED Arts blog features a new Video of the Week to help you forget that it isn’t Friday yet.

Some people think the Kindle is the future and that print is dead. They’re wrong. Technology can’t match the magic of a physical copy of a book or the smell of its pages. And, judging by the beautiful stop-motion video they just released, the New Zealand Book Council agrees. Find out what happens when a scalpel has its way with the pages of Maurice Gee’s “Going West” below!
