This week, we’re doing things a little differently. Instead of one notable Video of the Week, we’ll be sharing one per day. Each clip will be a music video featuring an over-the-top, campy female singer.

As I said earlier this week in my review of their new album, the Fiery Furnaces are hard to break into and not for everyone. The music sometimes verges on schizophrenic and, dare I say it, annoying. But connect one of their scatterbrained songs to the illustrations of Mike Reddy and throw in some stop-motion dancing and you’ve got a gateway drug on your hands. If this doesn’t make you like them a little bit more, I’m not sure anything could.

If you have any crazy sexy cool videos of your own, share them with us and we’ll consider them for future installments of Video of the Week!
