Kendrick Lamar will release a new album on May 13—the follow-up to ‘DAMN,’ the rapper announced today.

Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers will be out next month, according to a tweet and a website announcement by Kendrick Lamar.

No tracklist or features were announced, nor further details, only a message that read: “All factual information for this release will come directly from this source only.”

The website also includes Kendrick’s message from August 2021, announcing this next album as his last for TDE, his label.

It reads, in part:

I spend most of my days with fleeting thoughts. Writing. Listening. And collecting old Beach cruisers. The morning rides keep me on a hill of silence.

I go months without a phone.

Love, loss, and grief have disturbed my comfort zone, but the glimmers of God speak through my music and family.
