The Making of a Great Moment is a little play, a rolling world premiere by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb that spoofs traveling theater companies with silly jokes and slapstick — and then digs much deeper than you’d expect into the meaning of human existence. Danny Scheie and Aysan Celik are terrific as the struggling actors on tour, hoping, as we all do, for that one great moment to illuminate their lives. The Making of a Great Moment runs July 26–Aug. 26 at Z Space in San Francisco; details here.
