Now, they go on to compete for California Teacher of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/50647972\" target=\"_blank\">this video of Warfield<\/a>,\u00a0she talks about the conversations and debates that take place in her classroom. \u201cI really, really believe in my students,\u201d she said. \u201cTheir intellectual capacity is so great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Davis, a kindergarten teacher at Global Family Elementary School, was Oakland Unified\u2019s other nominee for 2012-13.
