On Two Fronts: Latinos in Vietnam, a documentary exploring the experiences of Latino veterans and working class youth during the Vietnam War and their connection to the social movements and activism happening on the home front.

This map features a selection of public memorials and locations honoring the service of our veterans in the San Francisco/ Bay Area.

Among the 26 locations highlighted on the map you will find a Vietnam War Memorial Plaque at the Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco  commemorating the heroes lost in battle (Location I), additionally there are memorials honoring veterans beginning in the Civil War (Location G) and onward. The map offers various scenic and historical locations that honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Pay tribute to these heroes by checking out some of these locations.

On Two Fronts: Latinos in Vietnam, is a documentary exploring the experiences of Latino veterans and working class youth during the Vietnam War and their connection to the social movements and activism happening on the home front. On September 10, the School of Arts and Culture at the Mexican Heritage Plaza in San Jose will be hosting a free screening of the film from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The Event will feature speakers, music and a brief presentation of the Veteran’s Memorial Map tool.
