Mark Foehringer Dance Project|SF presents the premiere of Like an Ox on the Roof, a one weekend performance of three new works inspired by classical music compositions, and the restaging of Foehringer’s Concerto Grosso by dancer Private Freeman (ODC Dance).
Artistic Director Mark Foehringer says, “Like an Ox on the Roof is a special evening length mixed repertory program. I’ll be collaborating with many renowned artists including classical pianists Daniel Glover and Tamami Honma, as well as dancer Private Freeman. Audiences will have the opportunity to see three world premieres all in one evening, performed by many of San Francisco’s finest contemporary dancers.
