Join KQED at The Contemporary Jewish Museum for KQED Member Days and view their newest exhibition The Art of Rube Goldberg. Rube Goldberg began his career drawing comics for the San Francisco Chronicle. Rube’s contraptions, which were nothing short of a cultural phenomenon in the 1930s, endured and delight audiences to this day. The exhibition brings together never-before-exhibited original drawings and preparatory sketches alongside rare photographs, films, letters, and memorabilia from the Goldberg family archives.
Admission is free on Saturday, April 21, and Sunday, April 22, to KQED members who present a valid ID and current KQED MemberCard. Tickets are available in person, day-of-visit only. Total of two persons per KQED MemberCard.
