Pop-Up Magazine, the live storytelling event heralded by the New York Times as “a sensation,” returns to the Paramount Theatre in Oakland!

An eclectic mix of writers, radio producers, filmmakers and photographers will bring a night of brand-new, true, multimedia stories to the stage, with a live score by their house band Magik*Magik Orchestra. The Fall Issue includes Daniel Alarcón (Radio Ambulante, The New Yorker), Cord Jefferson (Master of None, The Good Place), Sean Rameswaram (Radiolab’s More Perfect), Brooke Jarvis (The California Sunday Magazine, The New York Times Magazine), filmmakers Donal Mosher and Mike Palmieri (October Country, Off Label, Peace in the Valley), Aparna Nancherla (Crashing, Late Night with Seth Meyers) and more. After the show, everyone sticks around for drinks and conversation. Nothing’s recorded, so you’re just going to have to be there to see it. Best of all, we have one pair of tickets to give away!

Fill out the form below for a chance to win a pair of tickets and to receive weekly updates about Bay Area art and culture.

One winner, selected randomly from all entries, will receive one pair of tickets (two tickets total at a $26 per-ticket value) to the event at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, at 7:30pm on October 18, 2017.
