2017 marks Noise Pop's 25th year of independent music and film programming in the Bay Area. To celebrate, KQED Truly CA is giving away three pairs of tickets each to two uniquely California music documentaries appearing in this year's film series.

The Colossus Of Destiny: A Melvins Tale follows the peaks, pitfalls, and ever-revolving bass players experienced by the beloved heavy three-piece during their 33-year career.

Follow the rise and fall of the "Golden Age" of rock n’ roll magazines with Ticket To Write. The film offers a window onto the 1966 - 1981 era of music journalism when writers like Lester Bangs and Ben Fong-Torres were often as revered as rock stars.
