KQED Arts is proud to partner with Noise Pop in their 25th year of celebrating the Bay Area's vibrant independent music and arts scene. In addition to the music festivities, a lineup of independent film screenings kicks off February 17. This year's film series will feature three KQED shorts: Tacos & Punk: Discussing What Women of Color Face in the Local Scene, Rock Composer Cheryl Leonard Makes the Rocks Sing, and Police Shooting Spurs Young Actors to Reclaim Neighborhood.
