Join KQED and our community partners to celebrate the life of Maya Angelou through poetry and song. Watch a one-hour preview of American Masters - Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise. Journey through the prolific life of the I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings author and activist who inspired generations with lyrical modern African-American thought. Features new interviews with Oprah Winfrey, Common, the Clintons and others.


From all entries we'll randomly select two winners for a pair of tickets. Deadline to enter is Sunday, February 5 at 11:59 pm. Winners will be notified by e-mail on Monday, and tickets will be held at Will Call. You must be a California resident and 18 years or older to participate. Employees of KQED are not eligible to enter.
