View Close to Home by Theo Rigby. (Running Time: 6:00)

Close to Home follows the story of a father broken from the loss of his son, and a daughter waiting for the father that she once had. Through his passionate advocacy to find his son's murderer, Luis Marquez has lost sight of his family. The Marquez family now suffers the absence of a father, along with the brutal loss of a son. Luis' daughter, Norma, expounds on the fragile mind-state of her father, and their tenuous relationship, as she sets up an altar welcoming Brian's spirit back into the house on the traditional Mexican holiday of the Day of the Dead. Close to Home employs a haunting score, combined with black and white imagery to frame this story of a father trying to find a way to continue with life, and become the father he has always wanted to be.
