Phaela Peck

Phaela Peck is an environmental educator and writer based in San Francisco. After earning a B.A. in biochemistry and molecular biology from Reed College, Phaela moved to the Bay Area where she has worked as a naturalist, science teacher and curriculum developer. In 2008, Phaela completed a M.A. in environmental education with an emphasis in teacher professional development. She is interested in nature education and the intersection between technology and place-based education. Phaela enjoys traveling and hiking and is working on her first novel.
