World demand for seafood is rising, but many of the world’s oceans are already overfished. Now scientists are creating vegetarian diets for species like trout, which may lessen the strain on over-fished oceans.

    How about this CRAZY and EXTREME idea?: Since we are wreaking havoc on the ecosystem feeding little fish to big fish, and making the big fish vegetarian would solve the problem, how about we HUMANS decide to cut the middle man out of the food chain and go vegetarian, too? Grow plants to feed PEOPLE, not to feed animals which people then eat. It’s totally inefficient to say the least.
