All next week beginning at 5:50am each day, tune into KQED 88.5 FM for host Scott Shafer’s coverage of the hearings for KQED Public Radio’s The California Report. The audio and transcripts of the oral arguments will be available each day of the proceedings on kqed.org/prop8.

KQED Public Television’s This Week in Northern California will dedicate the episode on Friday, March 22, at 7:30pm, hosted by Scott Shafer, to the Supreme Court hearings. The KQED 9 program will feature interviews with Gavin Newsom about his controversial decision to grant marriage licenses to gay couples in 2004 and Andrew Pugno, general counsel of ProtectMarriage.com, the official proponents of Prop. 8, and a roundtable discussion analyzing legal issues considered in the Prop. 8 and DOMA cases.
