WHAT: Health Dialogues (HealthDialogues.org), a special monthly report airing as part of KQED’s statewide news program The California Report and hosted by Scott Shafer, engages listeners in an on-going discussion of California health care issues that are crucial to the state’s under-served population.

MARCH TOPIC: “Medical Mistakes”

Are California hospitals reporting medical mistakes and infections accurately - or at all? State officials estimate that thousands of Californians die each year from medical mistakes and patient infections. Join Health Dialogues as we explore efforts to reduce these risks. We’ll also take a look at what officials - and consumers - can do to safeguard against medical errors and infections.
