Fashion is a slippery slope, and if American Apparel has taught me anything, it’s that we’re just a few seasons away from a deep V that ends at the Earth’s mantle. The problem seems obvious: typical style guides just don’tgo far enough. Can you really trust that someone is going to take your gentle tips on, say, layering and NOT put on every item of clothing they own? No! You can’t!
