Three California school districts are rolling forward with multi-million dollar grants from the federal Race to the Top program. And they're not the big districts, like Los Angeles or Fresno. Ten million dollars will go to the Lindsay Unified School District, located in a city of 11,768 people in Tulare County. What impressed federal educators about Lindsay?
