Polled Californians and Legislative Leaders Want More Money for Higher Ed Without Tuition Hikes

A majority of Californians believe the state's higher education system is very important to it's future, but they don't want to pay for it. That's according to a new poll out from the Public Policy Institute of California. Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins called for a budgeting plan requiring UC to justify each line item instead of working automatically from the previous year's plan.
