Birds Coated in Mysterious Goo Get Treatment, Cause Remains Unknown

A mysterious goo seeped into San Francisco Bay about two weeks ago. The gray, sticky substance was like rubber cement and doesn't appear to be toxic to marine life. But it has been devastating to birds. More than 250 birds have died, mostly from hypothermia.
