Tonight, Carson's city council is set to either approve the project or let voters decide. Two months ago Inglewood had the same choice and after a couple hours of discussion went ahead and signed off on a $1.8 billion dollar stadium. Even if it gets the green light, Carson's project faces a more uncertain fate because it's slated to be built on top of a former landfill.
