In Oakland Friday morning, thousands turned out to cheer the end of the drought. No, not that drought. The 40 years the Golden State Warriors have gone without winning an NBA championship. It ended this week with the Warriors beating the Cleveland Cavaliers four games to two, winning it all for the first time since 1975. So there was a joyous parade through the heart of downtown and a sea of the blue and yellow team colors.
