For many of us, it wouldn’t be summer without a trip to the county fair. What’s a fair without competitions? Fairs are fighting for our attention. Some are searching the Internet for the latest craft trends. But, some folks are bringing back off-beat traditions as Sam Harnett found out at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton.
