Gas prices are on the minds of Californians. While we've seen a surge before, what's happening this week is particularly acute. Prices in San Diego are up nearly 60 cents from last week. In Los Angeles, that jump has been 70 cents. It seems the spike was triggered by a federal report highlighting a fuel shortage in the state.
