That's the idea behind the Monterey Bay Aquarium's nearly twenty-year-old Seafood Watch program that produces a guide to sustainable seafood. With news about the near extinction of Blue Fin Tuna, and dwindling populations of other fish like wild sturgeon and eel, the guide has helped seafood lovers make ocean friendly choices about what goes on their dinner plate.
