As fire fighters struggle to contain the Valley Fire and Butte Fire, relief workers are preparing to staff evacuation centers through the end of the week or longer. More than 23,000 people have been evacuated and officials have not set a timeline for when residents can return to their homes -- if they have homes to return to. For many evacuees, the anxiety of not knowing the fate of their home adds to health issues.
