Crews for Southern California Gas this week are using concrete to seal up that months-long leak in a well at the Aliso Canyon natural gas storage field. Plugging the leak will stop its spew of methane and is a key step to helping thousands of Los Angeles County residents return home. It's also turning attention toward the safety of gas fields in the rest of the state.
