The California Public Utilities Commission is meeting right now, with 84 items on the agenda.

The public comment period at these meetings are pretty remarkable these days, and this one's no exception, as person after person is making their way to the lectern to rip into the commission on any number of issues: San Bruno, nuclear-plant licensing, and especially SmartMeters.

The people who don't like SmartMeters -- they really, really don't like them.
