A young woman was struck in the leg by gunfire as a party was
breaking up in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park early Sunday morning, police said.

The shooting was reported at 4:41 a.m. Sunday near Chain of Lakes
Drive on the west end of the park. As people were leaving the party, one shot was fired. A 19-year-old woman was struck in the leg by the bullet, according to police.

She was uncooperative with investigators and was taken to San
Francisco General Hospital to be treated for her injuries, which were not life-threatening, police said.

No suspect information was immediately being released today in
connection with the shooting.
