The first segment of today's arguments took up the question of whether state bans on same-sex marriage violate 14th Amendment guarantees of equal protection and due process under the law.
The second segment focuses on whether states' refusal to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states violates the Constitution's Full Faith and Credit clause.
