Michael Montgomery is a reporter for KQED and the Center For Investigative Reporting. One of his areas of expertise: medical marijuana. As he said, “It’s probably fair to say that over the last few years, I’ve become a pot reporter.”

So are there any occupational hazards to this particular journalistic niche? Apparently, yes. (And, yeah, it was tempting to put quotes around “unthinkingly.”)
