SF Sketchfest, the annual festival of comedians, is coming Jan. 24 to Feb. 10 to venues around San Francisco.

- A tribute to IFC's Portlandia with creators Fred Armisen, Carrie Brownstein and Jonathan Krisel on Wednesday, January 30 at 8:00pm at Herbst Theatre.
- A tribute to the creators and cast of Adult Swim’s Childrens Hospital with Rob Corddry, Lake Bell, Beth Dover, Erinn Hayes, Rob Huebel, Ken Marino and executive producers David Wain and Jonathan Stern at Cobb’s Comedy Club on Saturday, February 9 at 8:00pm.
- A viewing of Welcome to the Dollhouse with the special Peaches Christ pre-show treatment with musical numbers and a very special guest appearance by the film’s star, “Dawn Wiener” herself, Heather Matarazzo on Friday, February 8 at 7:00pm at the Castro Theatre.
- In An Evening with Pootie, the cult classic comedy Pootie Tang will be introduced by actor Lance Crouther, appearing in character as Pootie. Crouther will reappear as himself for a post-film Q&A session on Friday, February 8 at 10:00pm at the Castro Theatre.
- In a special 20th Anniversary show, the cast and creators of Nickelodeon’s The Adventures of Pete and Pete will reunite for performances, live music, clips, audience Q&A and lots of surprises. The show’s creators, Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi, will be joined by actors Mike Maronna, Danny Tamberelli, Toby Huss and Rick Gomez on Friday, January 25 at 8:00pm at Marines’ Memorial Theatre.
- The cast and creative team behind the Yahoo! Comedy Channel web series Burning Love will bring together cast members from both the first and upcoming second seasons for a panel discussion on Sunday, February 10 at 4:00pm at Cobb’s Comedy Club. Scheduled to appear are season one’s bachelor (and the series’ director) Ken Marino, season two’s bachelorette June Diane Raphael, host Michael Ian Black, writer/actress Erica Oyama, executive producer Jonathan Stern, and series stars Beth Dover, Ryan Hansen, Rob Huebel, Natasha Leggero, Joe Lo Truglio, Paul Scheer, Adam Scott and Janet Varney.
- At Party Down with Party Down on Saturday, February 9 at 4:00pm at Cobb’s Comedy Club, actors from the cult classic television show including Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Ryan Hansen and Martin Starr, will discuss the beloved series, about a group of struggling actors working as caterers in Los Angeles.
- Celebrity Autobiography returns to SF Sketchfest on Saturday, February 9 at 8:00pm and Sunday, February 10 at 5:00pm at the Marines’ Memorial Theatre with new hits and old classics. This year Jennifer Coolidge (American Pie), Rachel Dratch (30 Rock), Janeane Garofalo (Wet Hot American Summer), Laraine Newman (Saturday Night Live), Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids), Fred Willard(Best in Show) and Celebrity Autobiography’s co-creatorsEugene Pack and Dayle Reyfel read memoirs of celebs such as Snooki, Streisand, Hasselhoff, Madonna, Beyonce, Bieber and beyond!
- Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live, Bridesmaids) & Gretchen Lieberum are Princess: An Evening of the Music of Prince. When Maya performed Prince’s “Darling Nikki” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon recently, Gawker called it “ingenious” and “the best thing on TV.” Don’t miss Princess’s Bay Area debut on Friday, February 8 at 8pm and 10:30pm at Yoshi’s San Francisco. - Los Angeles-based comedy/folk music duo Garfunkel and Oates, also known as comedians and actresses Kate Micucci and Riki Lindhome, bring their show to the Rickshaw Stop on Sunday, February 10 at 8:00pm, along with special guest Dragon Boy Suede, the comedic rapper and MC created by comedian Howard Kremer.
- The Nerdist Podcast with Chris Hardwick, Jonah Ray and Matt Mira returns to the festival on Saturday, February 2 at 7:00pm at the Marines’ Memorial Theatre.
- Professor Blastoff, the science-themed podcast hosted by comedy sensation Tig Notaro and her friends Kyle Dunnigan and David Huntsberger, makes its Sketchfest debut with two very unique and different live events. The first event is on Wednesday, January 30 at 8:00pm at Cobb’s Comedy Club, and the second is part of SF Sketchfest’s Comedy NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences on Thursday, January 31 at 6:00pm.
- SF Sketchfest and Adult Swim present the Delocated Witness Protection Program Variety Show, featuring performances by the show’s star, Jon Glaser, who will be joined by very special guests including Steve Agee, Eugene Mirman, Mary Lynn Rajskub and Kristen Schaal on Saturday, January 26 at 10:00pm at Cobb’s Comedy Club.
- Stella: The Classic Nightclub Show, features Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter and David Wain. They will be joined by guest comedians and musicians at Mezzanine on Sunday, February 10 at 8:00pm. You can see their work on www.stellacomedy.com.
- For Judah Friedlander and American Tripps Ping-Pong Party, audiences will first watch a stand-up set by The World Champion Judah Friedlander (“Frank Rossitano” on 30 Rock. After Judah’s set, join him and the American Tripps partiers for an epic throwdown of “Berlin-style” ping-pong on Wednesday, February 6 at the Verdi Club.
- A comedy game show! Iron Comic with Nato Green and Moshe Kasher and their guest comics Maria Bamford, Michael Ian Black, Andy Kindler, Natasha Leggero and Michael Showalter on Saturday, February 9 at 10:30pm at Cobb’s Comedy Club.
- SF Sketchfest Comedy NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences on Thursday, January 31 at 6pm. Featuring Chris Hardwick, Tig Notaro, Greg Proops, Brent Weinbach, Myq Kaplan, Will Franken and more. NightLife features food, drinks and DJs and is for guests ages 21 and over.
