Look Up in the Sky! It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's a Meteor Over Northern California!

Many Northern California residents spotted a fireball travelling across the sky at about 7:45pm Wednesday. Some heard a loud boom. News organizations later reported that it was a meteor.

And for those of you who missed the meteor, here's an artist's rendering:
