The President of the United States dropped in for a little takeout today at Chinatown's Great Eastern restaurant (3.5 stars on Yelp):

The Chronicle has a whole slideshow. Carla Marinucci captured the essentials with this tweet...

But there's more. "I got a dim sum selection," Obama bragged, according to ABC News. Deets from KTVU as well.

Besides Chinese food, Obama is in town to do a little fundraising. Hmm. San Francisco, fundraising, dim sum... It's hard to put your finger on, but I think those are enough elements for a Fox News expose.

Here's raw video from KCBS of Obama's arrival in San Francisco. He is met on the tarmac by Gavin Newsom, Ed Lee and Kamala Harris. You can't hear any sound, but I think the conversation went something like this:

Obama: So where can I get some good Chinese takeout?

Ed Lee: Great Eastern restaurant.

Kamala Harris: Definitely Great Eastern.

Gavin Newsom: Hey, am I taller than you?
