KQED's Caitlin Esch was in Oakland today, capping this week's Occupy Oakland developments. In the wake of last night's fatal shooting near the encampment, the tent camp -- and how to deal with it -- was the focus of a prayer breakfast this morning with religious and community leaders.

Dozens of interfaith religious leaders joined Mayor Jean Quan at the Cathedral of Christ the Light Church this morning. Quan asked the attendees to help her bring about a peaceful resolution by going to the camp and asking people to leave peacefully.

Esch then went to the encampment, where one camper named Ali told her "We can't stay here forever but we're not leaving."
