In May, the attorney for Bryan Stow's family announced that Barry Bonds had volunteered to pay for the college educations of Bryan Stow's children, Tyler, age 12, and Tabitha, age eight. From KNTV, May 26:
Stow family attorney Thomas Girardi said that former slugger Barry Bonds has volunteered to pay for their college education. He said the family has talked about turning other donations back to the fans if [their lawsuit against the Dodgers] is successful, but said the gift of a college education is something they treasure and will keep.
Not sure how this fits into that report, but Bonds has made a video asking for the public's support in establishing a college fund.
