KQED’s Ian Hill – a man with apparently little need for sleep – has already put together a Storify version of the approach of Oakland Police onto Frank Ogawa Plaza.  This gives you a visceral sense of the protestors waking up to the action.

UPDATE: The Plaza is cleared, and the police have moved on to Snow Park.
