    One issue that never seems to be raised is that the US govt. owns a patent on cannabinoids, the active ingredients of cannabis, as neuroprotectants and antioxidants. Patent 6630507 can be verified at uspto.gov . The US knows fully well that cannabis is a powerful healing medicine and has known for over 35 years. Search and read that patent and you will have proof in black and white that the US govt. is LYING about cannabis.
