San Francisco Bay Area Memorial Day: Parking, Transit, Events 27 May,2011Jon Brooks

  • The past few years of San Francisco’s government as led By Gavin Newsom should serve as a shining beacon of how not to run a city. The only viable industry left, tourism and entertainment are pricing themselves out of contention as the rest of the nation is managing to keep pace. The final dagger in the back is that ADDITIONAL staffing by parking enforcement meant that thousands of individuals received expensive tickets and/or tow and impounding charges on Memorial Day. Is the statement then that San Francisco doesn’t care to observe a national holiday or is it that San Francisco doesn’t care about those who were out and about supporting it’s merchants?
