Video: LAPD Press Conference Announcing Arrest in Bryan Stow Case

Here’s raw video from KGO of yesterday’s LAPD press conference announcing the arrest of a suspect in the Bryan Stow case. Police Chief Charlie Beck declined to name the arrested suspect or discuss the circumstances behind his arrest, but police identified him later in the day as 31-year-old Giovanni Ramirez, who is now in custody on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. His bail was set at $1 million.

Beck said there are at least two other suspects for whom police are actively searching, referring to the accomplice in the beating and the female driver of the car that sped away with both men after the attack. After Beck spoke, L.A. City Councilman Ed Reyes made a plea to the “other coward who did this” to turn himself in.

“We will identify you and we will bring you in,” Reyes said. “So make your life less complicated, turn yourself in, save us a lot of grief, and let’s end this.”
