The other day reporter Caitlin Esch visited the Oakland Zoo to get the lowdown on the recent birth of two baby North American River Otters. While there, she took some video of the momma and poppa otters.

But this a.m., an email from Caitlin with a message to make any blogger’s heart sing: “The link to the updated video, complete with footage of baby otters…”

Are you listening, Internet? I said footage of baby otters.

How adorable. But what’s he doing at :47? Dancing?

Or [ahem] following the call of nature? If the latter, forget I asked.

That possibility crossed my mind as well. Thanks for making me think about it all over.
