A power outage -- unrelated to today's 3.8 quake that has left 7,000 without electricity in Pacifica -- occurred in the Lake Merced area of San Francisco this morning.

KRON now reports that San Francisco State, located in that area, has canceled any classes scheduled to start after 4 p.m.
