In the world of cloud computing, every now and then, a little rain must fall.

For example, if you've been using Google Videos to preserve that must-see footage of your cat playing the didgeridoo, better grab it and re-archive somewhere else before May 13.

What people really need to do is back up all their online media with hard copies.

Oh, wait...

That's when the service, which was basically obsoleted by Google's acquisition of YouTube in 2006, will shut down.
