Oy. A couple of days ago it was the video of the Muni L car rumbling along with its doors open; today it's a bus driver texting while driving.

KTVU has the cell phone video of the Feb 27 incident, plus an interview with the passenger who took it.

After the driver pulled the bus over,"she took out her iPhone and started recording us," says Shawn Higgins. "And saying 'I'm gonna show you, I'm gonna show you. I'll never pick you up again, you a*******.'

"It shouldn't happen. It shouldn't happen," says Muni spokesman Paul Rose, looking for the moment like he'd rather be representing Col. Muammar Gaddafi than San Francisco's public transit system.

KCBS TV also has a video report, which adds the detail of Higgins saying the driver forced him and his husband off the bus. The driver denied that, said Paul Rose, claiming an illness as the reason for clearing off all of the passengers.

He said the driver was suspended for three days without pay. She is now back on the job.
