As we reported yesterday, 15-year-old Greg Hubbell, Jr. from Belmont recently won his fifth World Wildlife Calling Championship, giving him the world title in five -- count 'em five -- species; his youth and animalistic verisimilitude making him a sort of combination Doogie Howser / Doctor Dolittle.
KQED News producer Molly Samuel and news intern Katrina Schwartz talked to Greg today, who talked back in both human and animal. I then collected some sound from the web in order to compare it to that from the champ. At that point KQED terminated my employment. (Ha ha not yet.)
