KQED's John Myers and other reporters were able to ask Gov. Brown a few questions before he left the building last night after his State of the State address. Brown said he's sticking to his self-imposed March deadline for getting an agreement, and that he's yet to receive any alternative proposals on paper from Republicans.

"I've had drinks with people, but I haven't gotten any paper, or even any articulated position, other than no. Or 'no for now, but check back later.''
